Russell Huq, Medical Director
Medical director, Russell Huq, MD, is a board-certified family medicine specialist with a background in urgent care and emergency medicine who oversees the team of providers at Rapid City Healthcare. At Rapid City Healthcare in Irving, Texas, Dr. Huq provides care to patients in need of COVID-19 testing, physicals, labs and X-rays, and other medical services.
Dr. Huq received his medical degree from the prestigious Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut. His education then brought him to Texas, where he finished a family medicine residency at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, part of the Methodist Health System, in 2009. He later completed an additional residency in emergency medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
At Rapid City Healthcare, Dr. Huq sees patients of all ages, including children, and provides comprehensive pediatric care. Whether a child has strep throat or allergies, Dr. Huq can diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions. He also offers a variety of telemedicine services for patient convenience.

They are so sweet! And accommodating I went in for urgent care for possible Covid , and they addressed all concerns and prescribed medication. Front desk is the sweetest tooo! I’m ready to see them as primary care to get checked out too!
This place is awesome. The receptionist is so nice and friendly. They do get busy when they open at 11AM, but it’s worth the wait. The nurses and doctors are very quick to assess the problem, and they will get you out of there quickly. I believe that without insurance, it is 135 dollars. I have insurance, so it costs me 15 dollars.
Good health care is hard to find . This place got it right! The staff was caring and responsive. I can’t say enough about Nurse Tina!! She has been so good to me every visit! Also, Doctor Jessica was able to help me become pain free for the first time in over a year. They all made me feel comfortable about a very scary diagnosis. I am truly grateful and will be continuing my health care at Rapid City. 10 ⭐️’s

Rapid City Healthcare is open Monday–Thursday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays. Walk-ins are welcome during all open hours — no appointment required.
